7 days in.

With life you never know what to expect. Seven days ago I launched the website for Whitecaps and I never anticipated the level of support I have received. So many friends placing orders, sharing content on social media, asking questions, giving feedback, reaching out to me after months or years of having lost touch. The tempo of life is continuously changing and it is so easy to get wrapped up in what you’re focusing on that you can loose sight of the many friendships you have around you. This week I reconnected with a girlfriend that I have known for the last 8 years, we’ve both changed work environments, had children, marriage, divorce, so many ups & many downs in our personal lives. Still, no matter how far our individual paths seem to take us, there is something about life that continues to bring us together, just when one of us needs the other most. This woman was there to hug me when I needed it more than I could ever express, and yesterday I was able to hand deliver a custom bracelet and give her a hug when she needed it and that means more to me than she will ever know. Making gemstone jewelry is something I am so passionate about and love to do, but nothing will ever compare to the feeling of connecting or re-connecting with someone. I am beyond excited for what the next week will bring and I hope that I can continue to add positive moments to everyones day through my life and through Whitecaps.
